Informant SE, the Standard Edition of our records management system, is a basic, scaled down version that is offered at a significantly lower price than the full-featured Professional Services Edition or the comprehensive Campus Safety Edition.
Informant SE may be the right fit for public safety agencies, especially smaller ones, which are looking for a solid and affordably priced system that covers all the basics. Both small municipal police departments and campus safety departments with more limited records and reporting needs have acquired Informant SE.
- Customizable and Easy to Use
We recognize that no two public safety agencies are exactly alike, so we have provided a significant amount of flexibility to the system, while still making it easy to learn so individuals with little or no computer experience can master Informant with a minimal amount of training.
Informant SE comes with fewer modules, fewer administrative setup options, fewer standard reports, and does not support any of our optional plug-in modules.
An agency with the Standard Edition, however, can upgrade to one of the two more comprehensive editions, or may choose to purchase one or more of the "regular" modules (as opposed to an optional plug-in module) that comes standard with the Professional Services Edition or the Campus Safety Edition, such as the Citation module or the Registration module.
